Trademark Guidelines

“FLY8HT,” the FLY8HT wordmark, and the FLY8HT logo (together, the “Marks”) identify our product. These guidelines exist so people can talk about FLY8HT freely, while making sure the Marks aren’t used in a way that misrepresents who made something or implies an endorsement that doesn’t exist.

1. What’s fine, no permission needed

• Referring to FLY8HT by name in a review, article, tutorial, video, or comparison, including honest criticism.
• Linking to fly8ht.app or a specific page on it.
• Using a plain-text mention of “FLY8HT” to describe compatibility or integration (e.g. “works great with FLY8HT”), as long as it doesn’t imply we made or endorsed your project.
• Using a screenshot of the real app or website in editorial content.

2. What’s not permitted without our permission

• Using the FLY8HT logo, or a confusingly similar name or logo, as the identity of your own product, project, company, or domain name.
• Modifying the logo, including recoloring it, distorting it, combining it with another mark, or extracting just the icon to use on its own as your own brand.
• Implying that your product, service, or content is official, endorsed by, or affiliated with FLY8HT when it isn’t.
• Using the Marks in a domain name, social media handle, or app name in a way a reasonable person could mistake for an official FLY8HT presence.

3. Using our name for a real integration or fork

If you’ve built something that genuinely works with FLY8HT (a plugin, a guide, a community resource) and want to reference it by name in your own branding (rather than just mentioning it in passing), please email us first at support@fly8ht.app. Most good-faith requests are simple to work out.

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to ask that a use of the Marks be corrected or removed if it violates these guidelines, and to take further action where genuinely necessary to protect the FLY8HT brand.

5. Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll update the version and effective date above.
