AI Notice

AI shows up in two genuinely different places when it comes to FLY8HT: how the product itself works, and how it was built. This page is honest about both, rather than letting either be assumed.

1. FLY8HT the product doesn’t use AI to make decisions about your code

Framework detection, package-manager resolution, and build-plan generation are all based on real, deterministic signals, such as config files that exist, dependencies declared in package.json, which lockfile is actually committed. FLY8HT never uses an AI model to guess at any of this, and it never sends your code, repository contents, or build output to an AI service of any kind. “Real detection, not a guess” is a real product commitment, not just marketing copy.

2. AI-assisted development, disclosed honestly

Parts of FLY8HT’s own codebase, including both the desktop app and this website, were built with the help of AI coding assistants. Every change is still authored, reviewed, and shipped by a human, and the project’s own real, automated test suite (hundreds of tests, most exercising real behavior rather than mocks) has to pass regardless of how a change was written. We think disclosing this plainly is more useful to you than staying quiet about it.

3. No AI-powered features process your data

Signing in (via Clerk) doesn’t feed any information to an AI model. This website has no AI chatbot, no AI-generated support responses, and no AI-driven personalization of any kind.

4. If this ever changes

If FLY8HT ever adds a real AI-powered feature that processes your data or code, this notice will be updated first, honestly describing what it does and doesn’t do. This is the same standard the rest of this product already holds itself to.

5. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll update the version and effective date above.
