Community Guidelines

FLY8HT’s source code currently lives in a private repository, worked on by a small, invited group of collaborators, not a public forum yet. These guidelines cover how we expect people to treat each other in that collaboration today, and will keep applying to any public community space (issues, discussions, a forum) if one opens up in the future.

1. What we expect

• Be respectful, even in disagreement. Critique the work, not the person.
• Give feedback the way you’d want to receive it: specific, and aimed at making the project better.
• Assume good faith. Most confusion is genuinely just confusion, not bad intent.

2. What’s not okay

• Harassment, personal attacks, or discriminatory language of any kind.
• Spam, or using project spaces to promote something unrelated.
• Sharing someone else’s private information without their consent.
• Deliberately submitting harmful, malicious, or plagiarized code or content.

3. Contributions

If you’re invited to contribute code, we expect it to follow the project’s own existing patterns and to be your own work (or properly licensed to be used here). Anything you contribute is understood to be offered under the same terms the rest of the project is maintained under, unless we’ve agreed otherwise with you directly.

4. Reporting a concern

If someone’s behavior in the project doesn’t meet these guidelines, tell us at support@fly8ht.app. We’ll look into it.

5. Enforcement

A real violation of these guidelines can result in a warning, removed content, or losing access to collaborate on the project, proportional to what actually happened.

6. Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time, including once they need to cover a real, larger public community rather than a small invited group. If we make a material change, we’ll update the version and effective date above.
